Wholesale medicines supply

Push Healthcare Ltd supplies licensed medicines to pharmacies, GP practices and other healthcare organisations under its own MHRA wholesale dealer's licence.

Wholesale is run by Push Healthcare Ltd, not Push Pharmacy

Push Healthcare Ltd holds wholesale dealer's licence UK WDA(H) 51408, issued by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). All wholesale supplies are made by Push Healthcare Ltd under that licence.

Push Pharmacy is our NHS pharmacy. It doesn't hold a wholesale licence and doesn't supply medicines wholesale. We don't supply members of the public through our wholesale service. If you're a patient, see our pharmacy services.

Who we supply

We only supply organisations that are legally allowed to buy medicines, such as:

  • community pharmacies registered with the GPhC
  • GP practices and dispensing doctors
  • hospitals and clinics
  • other licensed wholesalers

What we can supply

Our licence covers medicines with a UK marketing authorisation (or registration), including:

  • prescription-only medicines
  • pharmacy medicines and general sale list medicines
  • cold-chain products that need refrigerated handling
  • vaccines and other immunological products

We don't hold a Home Office controlled drugs licence, so we can't supply controlled drugs that need one. Tell us what you need and we'll confirm whether we can supply it.

How it works

  1. Send an enquiry

Tell us about your organisation and what you need, using the form below.

  2. We check your details

The law requires us to confirm that you're allowed to receive medicines, for example by checking your GPhC or MHRA registration.

  3. We confirm your order

We'll confirm availability, prices and delivery, and set up your account.

  4. We deliver

Medicines are stored and transported under Good Distribution Practice, including temperature control for cold-chain products.

Licensed and inspected by the MHRA

We follow the Good Distribution Practice guidelines, which cover how medicines are bought, stored, handled and delivered, so they reach you in the right condition. This includes checking suppliers and customers, keeping records so every product can be traced, and acting quickly on recalls.
